2009 is here!

ok i know no one Blogspots now, so im jss writing this for myself cus im a gayass

Wow, I've looked forward to this day for months and months.

I remember always saying  "Shit I wish 2009 would come already"

But you know what, it feels nothing different.  I thought when 2009 starts, and all my college apps and SATs are over with, I'd feel phresh and like a new woman.

But I feel the same.  Like the same jiral lobster.

Im in a very emotional and sentimental mood.

Just sitting here, reminiscin about 2008.

Honestly, this year passed by SO QUICK.  I still remember my last years New Years party as if it were yesterday.

Looking back, what jumps in my mind. HRMMMM

January=   New Years party.  thats it

February=    Eternity dance.  My birthday @ Holiday Inn

March=   Jack crap

April=   KIWINS Convention.

May=   AP tests.  omgawd

June=   School ends.  Summer school starts.  KIWINS banquet

July=    Elite all day every day.  My July 4th party.  Bonfire

August=  Kollaboration.

September=   School begins.  Jangtuh

October=  SATs.  AIDS walk

November=  SATs.   Homecoming.  Fall Rally.  Mammoth trip

December=   Final SATs.  Rose float.  Antioch retreat.  KCSC retreat.

wow. thats it.  you know wut. theres more. im not a loser. i jss cant think of them rite now

I think i grew alot in 2008.  not much like 2007. but still.  Surely my leadership skills grew with KIWINS and KCSC and Fax Leadership.  

And and

i think i got more mature.  and more wary of my goals in life.

And and with all the studying and success and failures in Junior year, im a smarter being.

And and  I can drive better now with Bertha.

will be the most important year yet.

This is when i fucking graduate HIGH SCHOOL.

When i get college acceptances.

When i START college.

this is so surreal.

Time is seriously flying so fast rite now my balls are dying.

Anyways

I had a fun new years. i think

i know God has great things in store for me this year.

And I just hope His favor and blessings will pour down upon me like hot sweet juicy milk.

Great news!

So i know, with the current economic recession, everyone's feeling down and about.
But I have news that will spring up your steps and make you dance!




I have finished and submitted my University of California application today!

I think im the only one who did it so early, besides Henry

Thank God I did Elite college app classes. The fear and pressure Elite puts on you makes you work like crazy :)


Anyways, it took me half an hour for me to click the final button "Submit"
It was so scary. As I was staring at that button of fate and destiny, my whole life flashed before my eyes, and I relived all of the important milestone moments of life.

Some images I saw were when I received my 2nd place for Spelling Bee in 2nd grade,
and .........actually thats it cus that was my only accomplishment.

Such a surreal feeling cus I've waited YEARS and years for this time. and finally, my college applications are in. Such a weird feeling omfg im dying here



What's weirder is that, I thought I'd have so much weight off my shoulders and feel like a whole new woman.
But honestly, I don't feel an inch different.
Man this sucks
I just feel MORE nervous b/c maybe I couldve written my essay better, possibly made an error? Nvm *knock on wood*


Some oppas & un'es told me that doing college apps is an important part of your life, and that it changes you alot. Hmmm. Do I concur? I kinda do, or at least that the essays changed me, cus it made me think about everything I did in my life and how they have shaped the incredible me into who I am today.

Hope you all experience that epitome soon.

Anyways, now the anxiety of getting accepted kicks in.
I've got until March to worry.
BUT, I actually refuse to worry. Cus it doesn't do anything except give me stress ulcer and gassy farts rite?

In these times, I realize how happy I am with my faith in God.
Where would I be without Him?
I can't even begin to imagine what it'd be like if I had no faith. I'd feel so hopeless and afraid.
But, I know everything is in His hands.

did you ever take time to think about what it means?

one day, this girl (anonymous) asked me what "jiral" meant....and shes Korean.
initially, i was shocked. but then as I began to think how i would explain it to her, i was dumbfounded.

I believe that there is no other word such as "jiral"
Its unique and discrimnative to the Korean language.
And Im proud of that ok


Lets talk about some of its various uses and connotations

1 I think one of the most common use of it is like
"Omg.....why's she so jiral. look at her. tell her to fucking stop"

What does jiral mean in that context?
I think it refers to someone's "fakeness" and "bullshit-tivity"


2 Jiral can be very fun
Like when yur in a group chillinn, and yur friend disappears and you see her ass taking pictures of the randomest shit like leaves, twigs, and try to get all artistic. only a pull people can pull that off without being called "jiral"

I guess in that context, jiral means "doing stupid funny shit for the hell of it knowing that yur making a dumbass out of yurself but you dont care cus its funny to both you and the opposite party"

I do that shit .... ALOT



3 Jiral can also hold a very negative and caustic connotation
I learned this the hard way, when I told my mom's ajeuma friend to stop jiraling.
I almost died.

A probable scenario is "Cut your fuckin jiral who the fuck do you think you are. Dont fuckin front you fake-ass slut"

I can't believe Election Day is already TOMORROW.
I can remember it like yesterday when the morning news said "Election days only 2 weeks away!"

Times like truly flying its getting kinda ridiculous now.

Anyways, I'm really excited about tomorrow. The fate of America is in the hands of tomorrow.
Wow.

This election is arguably one of the most historic and important elections of America's history.

Just take a look

-Economy is worst since Great Depression
-Foreign relations is crazy (everyone hates us)
-We're a blink away from a possible World War III
-We're all broke
-America's society and morales slippin'

Honestly, I think whether McCain or Obama gets chosen, that it wouldnt make a difference.
Theyre both great presidential candidates, and will make great presidents.

McCains got the experience and knowledge. He's got the military leadership and insight.
He's got great morals and values. He's not afraid to fight terrorism. He's known for being a "maverick". He really loves and is devoted to America. BUT, he looks likea creep when he smiles. He's kinda old and sick.

Obama is probably one of the most charismatic presidents, aside from Kennedy. He's an amazing communicator. Gives America a sense of support and strength in these tough times. Has great domestic and international plans. Plus, did you know that Europe is CRAZY about him. Him being president will dramatically improve America's image, cus stupid ignorant people seem to always align McCain with Bush, which is really ignorant to the max.


It'll probably be a reallllly close race.
Everyones predicting Obama will win, but wow imagine McCain wins.
That'll be like 2000 repeat.

I genuinely dont see a bright future ahead of us with shits and giggles and butterflies flying around. I think our generation will experience many trials and struggles. Many say we're living in the End Times. All I know is that the next President will be responsible for leading us through these crazyyyyy times.

So like, I know the issue of legality of gay marriage is a ridiculously controversial issue.
But God has given me a voice, so I will use it to stand up for my beliefs.
Amen.

First of all, I acknowledge that California is an extremely liberal state, so that the chances for such an extremely conservative legislation such as Prop 8 is practically impossible.
But still, I like to argue.

Also, I know that my position on this is mainly influenced by my Christian beliefs.
I believe in the sanctity of marriage, that it is a holy gift from God to MAN and WOMAN.
But, I understand that argument won't apply to everyone, so I will also argue logically and use emotional appeals and make you gasp in disgust.


I understand that proponents only want equality for all and to protect everyones rights ; that this is merely another fight for civil rights such as for Black rights.



They say that everyone has the right to love and marry whomever they wish.
But, where does that line get drawn?
As Henry Oh says, if I love my pet dog, can I marry him? I have the fundamental and "Constitutional" right to rite?
You can say thats nasty, or wanting to marry my cousin is immoral. But can't I say the same about a man sticking his penis into another man's anus?

Exactly.

So if this shit passes, I believe our society will fall. Our morals, values, will eventually wane. I bet a proposition to legalize incest marriage will come up in the future.

I was recently informed that after gay marriage was fully legalized in Switzerland or Greenland, activists then lobbied for BEASTIALITY (human-animal relationships)
And that a man actually married a dog. Fantastic

See, where is the line drawn? I don't know about you, but I'm not willing to glorify and spread equality to all, but also by doing so jeapordize our society and values.

Let's talk about families.
A proper family has a mother, father, and offspring. That's just how it biologically is. That's how God naturally created it.
In only that environment, can the child have the highest potential to succeed and become a healthy member of society.
If Prop 8 passes, you'll see 2 fathers and 2 mothers left to right. Think of how traumatic that will be for the child. And if the shame isn't there, certain psychological sideeffects will fucking come alrite.

ALSO
The proponents say that is the Constitutional right for gays to marry.
But lets see. WHO wrote the Constitution. The Founding Fathers rite?
Ok lets imagine. Do you think if we asked them today, that they would be for gay marriage? HELL NO. Unlike this generation, they had godly values and morals okay.
I bet you that marriage between two men didnt even cross their minds, so they didn't feel like they had to specifically mention that marriage is between man and wife.

Some can say that times were different back then and that they're old fashioned.
If you believe so, dont fucking mention the Constitution then. If the writers were imperfect, who are you to say that the constitution is some infallible document.

No, I'm not a homophobe or some gay basher
I support Prop 8 strictly according to my own moral beliefs, for God's will, and the best interest of our country and society as a whole.

And I have full respect for the ones that are against Prop 8, because they're standing up for their own beliefs of "equality".
BUT, no offense, I don't think these people consider enough of the long-term consequences and effects.
There has to be certain limits and rights reserved for only some circumstances.
If we go buck wild about EQUALITY and PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS, society will literally dissipate. Morals and values must be preserved above all. We're in a fucking slippery slope, and if this passes (which it wont), then other discrepancies will arise and other ridiculous propositions such as the right to beastiality and incest will undoubtedly emerge.
